Hidden Location, MS - A new set of 1:64-scale die cast cars branded with the Lunati® Bootlegger logo and featuring the camshaft series’ unique wood-grain packaging is available exclusively at Walmart. Every person and every car leave a legacy. Thanks to M2 Machines, a new legacy is being created in the collectibles world with the company’s Lunati Bootlegger Series. The set features some of the most iconic vehicles in history, including: a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air, 1965 Ford Econoline van, 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1969 Plymouth Road Runner 440 6-Pack, 1970 Chevelle SS 454 and 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. All pieces come in black with an off-white Bootlegger logo emblazoned on the doors.
Two rare “chase cars” are available in the form of a 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona and a 1965 Ford Econoline van, each featuring unique flat black logos. Runs were limited to 500 pieces of each vehicle worldwide. Even harder to find is a silver 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air that serves as the set’s “super chase car.” Only 168 pieces of the ’55 Chevy were produced.
Every highly detailed vehicle features a die cast body with opening doors and real chrome bumpers, along with separate headlights, taillights and hood ornaments. The 1:64 scale vehicles also feature rubber tires and a removable die cast chassis, while an included display base and acrylic case complete the package. A second release will take place at a variety of other retailers in early 2016.
